Zanoni's creations, whether they take the form of a stool or a side table, are the tangible results of his material explorations. His innovative work involves using extruded Polystyrene, subjected to a meticulous process involving fire. This transformative journey endows each piece with a distinctive caramelized appearance, as if they have been touched by the alchemy of the elements. The surface of these objects becomes glazed, revealing a previously unseen facet of the material. More recently, Zanoni has been working with metal plates and blending them with a street aesthetic referring to skate parks. The result lies in rolling tables and objects. Nicolas Zanoni's design approach is a testament to his ability to harness the latent potential within materials, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. His work stands as a celebration of creativity guided by the innate character of materials, forging a unique connection between artistry and industrial production.
