AE(v)O Armchair is a recuperation of a damaged structure of an AEO chair design by Deganello for Cassina to transform it in a Contemporary Throne out of medieval references (cf Cimabue, Duccio and Giotto in sala delle Maesta, UBizi, Firenze).
His chained side table is a materialization of the italian expression « servo muto » for the valet stand which would literally be « Mute servant », which nowadays is definitely out of date about its cruelty.
