The exhibition invites designers and artists to contribute to a contemporary interpretation of the Cabinet de Curiosités—the historic “cabinet of curiosities, where the rare, the mysterious, the beautiful, and the unexpected coexisted in a single collection. Rather than recreating historical artifacts, participants are encouraged to imagine what a curiosity cabinet could contain today. The exhibition brings together a diverse collection of unique objects that blur the boundaries between art, design, craftsmanship, fiction, science, nature, and imagination. Each contribution should possess a sense of intrigue, wonder, or discovery. Whether functional, sculptural, poetic, surreal, or experimental, every object should feel as though it belongs within this contemporary cabinet of curiosities.Public Opening Friday 2nd of October, 5pm - 10pm Works by Adeline Halot, Alexander Kirkeby, Anouck Morlon, Arthur Vandergucht, Bram Vanderbeke, Camille Maenhout, Chris Fusaro, Ivania Carpio, Jacob Industries, Kiki Goti, Linde Freya Tangelder, Lionel Jadot, LS GOMMA, Luke Lamaney, Matthias Gschwendtner, Natalia Criado, Senne Steenbeke, Sidequest, Sigurd Nis Schelde, Thibeau Scarcériaux, Tim Teven, Vormen, Yoon Shun The exhibition will be open to the public until the 1st of November.
